Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells!
Time Well Spent!
This past Tuesday, for the 2nd year in a row, my co-worker Joanne and I used the “volunteer day” our company gives us annually to help with gift wrapping at the Santa’s Anonymous Depot. We both happily brought our donations for the drop-off bin and then wrapped away! So much tape is needed for each parcel too! Every “parcel” has around 5 gifts and must be wrapped into 1 parcel with all edges completely taped down. It has been done that way as the parcels get a lot of “handling” between the wrapping table and delivery at the door … hence the “ton” of tape on each one!

‘Tis the Season … 😀
I love this time of year! My gift shopping’s well under way … in fact, I’m about 3/4 done! I managed to get the balcony decorated before the freezing weather hit. The timer’s set just right so that the lights are on for me to enjoy as I drive up to the building after work (or anytime after dark for that matter!) I’m torn though about putting up the tree … I don’t know if I want haul that thing out this year. I’m thinking about going back to a 2′ to 3′ pre-lit tree. I loved that look … small tree, well place blinking lights and all my lovely Christmas statutes … perfect for my condo! That’s it … I just talked myself into it! I’m going to check out Canadian Tire, Homesense and maybe Walmart online … hopefully I’ll see what I want so that I only have to make one stop. Then, with tomorrow being my flex day Monday, I can hit whichever store without having to face the weekend crowds!
I’m sure there’ll be more to come as the holiday season progresses but for now, I guess that’s about it! I hope you’re enjoying the season and all the “hub-bub” that goes with it!
